The serum is recommended for deep moisturizing or nourishing treatments as a complement to the Marine&Thermal line used in beauty salons and as a rejuvenating, moisturizing and nourishing product for application at home. - Astaxanthin - a carotenoid extracted from the alga Haematococcus pluvialis found in Hawaii. It is a substance produced by animals and plants as a result of stress on environmental conditions. It is the most potent antioxidant, 65 times stronger than vitamin C, 40 times stronger than beta carotene and 550 times better than vitamin E. It protects against UV rays and pollutants that damage DNA and cell membranes. Stimulates metabolism at the mitochondrial level and during protein synthesis. Promotes repair of damaged cells.
- Hyaluronic acid - a natural biopolymer involved in the formation of connective tissue, belonging to the glycosamican group naturally produced in the epidermis by keratinocytes in small amounts and in larger amounts in the dermis by fibroblasts. It retains water inside the cells and tissues, facilitates the circulation of body fluids, influences the processes of skin regeneration and renewal, ensures the proper functioning of the network of protein fibers in the skin responsible for elasticity, flexibility, density and volume, and is a precursor for the formation of new collagen and elastin fibers, and leaves a "protective film" on the skin against evaporation and loss of moisture from the skin.
- Plankton extract - marine plankton is a group of migratory organisms of very small size that are suspended in sea and ocean water. The most characteristic plankton creatures are diatoms(Rhizosolenia), copepods(Teomera acartia and Nauplius), the so-called Ofelia and Peridium depressum. It contains oligopeptides (the main ones are hexa-, hepta- and octopeptides), whose highest molecular weight is 2,000 daltons. They are obtained by hydrolysis. They act as a substrate to stimulate the building of natural protein fibers such as collagen, elastin and reticulins. In addition, it is rich in oligoelements (iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, manganese, iodine), vitamins (A, E, C, F, PP and B vitamins) and carbohydrates (polysaccharides of natural origin formed from pentaglycans and D-galacto/D-manoglycans that maintain proper moisture levels in human skin).
- Laminaria digitataalgae extract - belongs to the brownalgae. It is characterized by brown leaves up to two meters long. Of all marine algae, it has the highest concentration of iodine. It contains proteins, lipids, carbohydrates mainly in the form of polysaccharides i.e. alginic acid, laminarin, agar and fucoidin (they form a moisturizing film on the skin, ensuring proper hydration of the epidermis), microelements (sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iodine, chlorine, iron and others), B vitamins, beta-carotene, tocopherols, ascorbic acid, chlorophylls, quinones, phytosterols and other organic compounds with mineralizing, nourishing, toning and firming properties.
- Marine collagen - a macromolecule composed of three chains of amino acids with the structure of the so-called triple helix. It shows strong rejuvenating and moisturizing properties.
- Lithothamnium calcareumalgae - takes part in the biosynthesis of tissue elements.
- Algae Ascophyllum nodosum - contains alginic acid and fucoidans, mineral salts present in iodine, iron, calcium, manganese, potassium and silicon with anti-radical properties.
- Acmella oleracea algae - strong B-like tightening effect.
