• Phytoestrogens extracted from soybeans, pomegranate fruit Punica granatum, red meadow clover flower Trifolium pratense, Cimicifugaracemosa, Polygonium cuspidatum, Pueraria lobata and Pueraria mirifica and Angelica polymorpha sinensis - natural components with structure and function similar to natural estrogens. They are present in all parts of plants - flowers, fruits and leaves. Due to their natural similarity to 17-B-estradiol (female sex hormone), they activate estrogen receptors of fibroblasts and keranocytes. Thus, they counteract the loss of skin density and firmness, which particularly accelerates during menopause. Phytoestrogens act in a similar way to the human body's cell growth factors TGF β1 in stimulating collagen synthesis (up to 150%) and exhibit the growth ability to form integrins (glycoproteins) responsible for migration in the cell membranes of the matrix, improving the cohesion of cell bonds (up to 227%). Another important function of phytoestrogens is their antioxidant activity, several times stronger than vitamin C and E. They capture the free radicals present in the skin much more effectively and support the skin's regenerative processes.
• Biopeptide of collagen palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and elastin palmitoyl hexapeptide-12 - peptides, unlike proteins, can penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin thanks to much smaller molecules, made up of several or more amino acids. Through this, they act directionally, stimulating a specific process in the skin. An appropriately selected sequence of amino acids in peptides allows them to faithfully mimic the mechanism of action and effects exerted by their natural counterparts. From the point of view of cosmetology, not only the size of the peptide molecule is important, but also the sequence of amino acids in the chain. They stimulate cell metabolism in fibroblasts and the formation of new collagen and elastin bonds.
• Galactoarabate (GA) - a polysaccharide, built from the sugar units galactose and arabinose, which is the main component extracted from larch wood (bark). It shows great effectiveness in skin cell renewal, where keratinocytes in the lower layers of the epidermis undergo mitosis. As a result of the division of the cell nucleus, new cells are formed, which are gradually moved upward in place of existing cells. By exfoliating the epidermis, older keratinocytes are removed from the surface of the body. A higher rate of epidermal exfoliation increases the rate of skin cell renewal.
