• Glycoproteins - are a special type of high molecular weight glycogproteins (167 KDa), present in the dermis, in its extracellular matrix, which, together with collagen, hyaluronic acid and macromolecules, have a remarkable ability to retain water and maintain proper skin density. They consist of a protein core linked to a chain of highly differentiated glycosamicans. The content of polysaccharides (simple sugars: glucose, fructose, etc.) shows, on the one hand, remarkable hygroscopic properties due to the presence of a large number of hydroxyl groups, and on the other hand, filmogenic properties that capture and hold water molecules in tissues. In the extracellular matrix, glycoproteins form like a gel, which is an incredible transmitter of nutrients and information necessary for the processes of proper cell function. At the same time, this gel increases skin density, elasticity and firmness, and reduces irritation. They naturally stimulate the metabolism of connective tissue, participate in the interactions between neighboring membranes and play a huge role in skin strengthening mechanisms. They deeply moisturize, have a regenerative effect, increase skin elasticity and firmness, smooth and brighten the complexion, and increase skin density.
• Hyaluronic acid - retains water inside cells and tissues, facilitates the circulation of body fluids, influences the processes of skin regeneration and renewal, ensures the proper functioning of the network of protein fibers in the skin responsible for elasticity, flexibility, density and volume.
